The Leutert Positive Displacement Downhole Sampler provides customers around the world with representative fluid samples. The collected fluid can be transferred to a piston type sample cylinder on site without using mercury. A modified version of the Positive Displacement Downhole Sampler, the One Phase™ Sampler OPS, allows the downhole sample to be pressurized beyond reservoir pressure after it has been withdrawn from the reservoir. This compensates for any temperature-induced pressure drop and keeps the sample in a single phase as sampler is brought back to the surface. The unaltered sample requires no recombination before transfer and sample transfer takes only minutes instead of hours.
